7th of September 2008 There were a lot of very interesting events in the Karaite cultural and spiritual life during last months.
First of all it is worth mentioning that the seminar "Karaites and khazars" was held on March 4-5 in Miami (USA). It was organized by a well-known archivist A.G.
Krichevsky who collected many rare books on Orient. A key report at the seminar is "The fate of peoples of Khazar kingdom".
The same month another seminar organized by Efim Makarovski "Holy Steppe and Jews" took place in San Francisco. The participants discussed ideas of Karaite
proselytism among Desht-i-Qypchaq peoples with vivid interest.
And the last event, 1st World Congress of the European Karaites "Karaites and Karaism - yesterday, today and tomorrow" (Prague, Czech Republic, July 22-24, 2008)
drew a wide response among East European Karaites. You can see the Congress' main documents, positive one and some critical responses placed at IICK free discussion forum.

5th of August, 2006 In Kenassa section Mimmoono and Shimha Ram (mp3s) are added.
7th of June, 2006 Albums Olga Prik: Archive materials (dedicated to her 85th anniversary) and Complex of Karaite kenassas in Eupatoria and other kenassas around the world are publicated.
7th of April, 2006 Karaite Room section is extended.
3th of April, 2006 1) New pictures from "Bakhchi-Karai" are added. 2) Karaite Room section is created, photos are added.
25th of December, 2005 1) In the Kenassa's building gallery photos of Big kenassa re-opening ceremony are added (thanks to hazzan Victor Tiriyaki). 2) Photos of the 600th celebration of Karaites comming and setteling in Lithuania are added (thanks to Natalia Abrahamowicz).
5th of October, 2005 In Kenassa section Saturday Evening Pray Erev Shabbat (mp3s and pdf) is added.
21th of September, 2005. 1) The construction of the
Sukkot pergola has been recently finished : the vine of the Concord sort
twines around it. The oak-wood was planted in the Bakhchi-Karai garden
three years ago. This place will be a sacred one for the Pantheon of Great
Karaites. 2) New book announcement: the album "Karaites of Moscow"
is added into "IICK publications" and now is available for sale.
6th of June, 2005. The site has moved to http://karaim-insitute.narod.ru/
and its design has been changed. Some errors have been corrected.
April-June, 2005. Seminar on Karaite history.
May, 2003. The site was created!
