Saturday Evening Prayer

Before you it is a Saturday Evening Prayer on a tradition of Crimean Karaites.

The Record includes: 1) the fragments of the prayer which has been recorded by S. I. Kushul from the last hazzan of Evpatoria B. S. Eljashevich in 1967, 2) the parts of the prayer restored and recorded by hazzan Abraham Kefeli.

The prayer must be read in responsive by a hazzan and a community, in Hebrew, in musical tradition and a pronunciation, accepted to Crimean Karaites, which is some differ in other communities (Egypt, Israel, Turkey and Lithuania). But the text of prayer is common for any another Karaite community. We hope this record will help you to teach the Karaite prayer and to prayer as our ancestors.
