Statesman. Founder of Taurian University and head of the Crimean government under general Vrangel in 1920. Holder of Russian Golden reserve. Agronomist and ameliorator. Graduated from Petrovskiy agricultural Academy in Moscow. In co-operation with geochemist V. I. Vernadskiy, physiologist V. I. Paladin, historian G. V. Vernadskiy and descendant of a decembrist, specialist in plant-growing I..Yakushin he established the scientific school of the Taurian University.
