А book is dedicated to Crimean Karaite Solomon Samoilovich Krim (born in Theodosia, April 25, 1867, passed in Paris, 1935). He was the outstanding political leader and founder of Tauric University. (1916-1920) S.Krim invited to Crimea world known professors V.Vernadski, D.Prjanishnikov, V.Obruchev, A.Ioffe and other.
The well known agronomist Solomon Krim developed his theory of Crimean lands melioration and the new conception of grape horticulture including its storage and preservation.
He created in the Tauric University the Atmosphere of high intellectual tension — Georgii Vernadski developed there the conception Eurasia, his father, Rector of the University Vladimir Vernadski formulated the principles of Biosphere, biologist Vladimir Palladin lectured the ideas of plant respiration and the participation of phenolics in this process, agronomist Ivan Jakushkin created the idea of Crop Production.
The last chapters of this book are dedicated to the participation of Solomon Krim in the life of Crimean Karaite Community.
